New HSK Course 4A is the primary textbook for the first volume of Level 4 in the New HSK Course series, designed for learners who have completed 114‒152 class hours, mastered around 1,000 vocabulary words, and are preparing to take the HSK (Level 4) exam. New HSK Course 4 consists of 20 lessons in total. It is divided into two volumes (Volume A and Volume B), each containing 10 lessons. The two volumes feature Level 4 vocabulary from the new HSK syllabus with slight expansions, as well as 80 language points. The recommended total teaching time is 80‒120 class hours, with 4‒5 class hours for each lesson.
