Élaborée par l'Université des Langues (Pékin), cette méthode en anglais et en caractères simplifiés couvre un cursus conçu pour 3 années d'études intensives. L'ensemble très riche présente une cohérence raisonnée, avec un bon rythme de progression méthodique tant sur le plan grammatical que lexical. Chaque manuel (课本 textbook), comprenant textes, annotations, grammaire et exercices, est accompagné d'un livret d'exercices (综合练习册 workbook) et d'un livre du professeur (教师手册 instructor's manual). Le manuel et le cahier d'exercices sont vendus avec un MP3. Des enregistrements vidéo sont disponibles sous forme de DVD.
